What Style Means To Me

'Style is the way to say who you are without having to speak.'

Style and fashion is something that has always played a big part of my life. I grew up loving creating new outfits and wearing statement pieces...although looking back some of my choices where not too great! But who doesn't have style regrets!

As a young child, and I would say I still am now (expect my friends probably wouldn't agree as I'm super confident and never shut up talking when I'm with them!) I was very shy. So for me my clothes were my outlet to express myself. It's funny as for someone who lacks self-confidence I have never lacked confidence when it comes to wearing bold statement fashion pieces. (Like the boots featured in this post!)

'Self confidence is the best outfit, rock it and own it.'

My style was and always probably will be the main thing that I'm most confident with.

I love statement pieces and I'm drawn to anything that sparkles...(I have eyes of a magpie!) My favourite part of my morning routine is waking up and deciding what to wear that day.

I love clothes/fashion and style so much that I decided to write a blog dedicated to fashion, I did my degree in Fashion Marketing at LCF and I'm now looking for a full time job in fashion.

I've always liked looking at new fashion trends, however I've never worn something because it is in fashion. I'll always wear something because I personally love it. As there is no point in just following the crowd in life, be your own person and stand out from that crowd.

It's a great feeling when people ask you for style advice and I love going shopping with my friends and family helping them choose new clothes. It's so nice helping people pick out clothes that make them feel really good. Because that's what style is all about at the end of the day, creating outfits that make you feel good about yourself.

By the way, these boots are from ASOS (you can still buy them here) and they are currently £20 in the SALE! Go buy them before they sell out. I will be wearing these with blue denim jeans, a white causal t-shirt or smarter blouse to dress it up. And my grey suede jacket! I will hopefully get an outfit post up soon to show you how I have styled them.

Hope you enjoyed this post
