Dress ASOS | Bag Michael Kors | Shoes River Island

Happy Wednesday everyone!

We are half way through the week and very very close to a long Easter weekend, which I for one am extremely excited about. I've had a really busy week so far with lots of exciting things going on and hopefully I'll be making some big life changes soon. I've decided 2018 is the year to really focus on my career and developing as a person. (Including my health and fitness.) And so far I'm pleased with my efforts of making these things happen. However with all of these things going on, I have once again put my little blog to one side. I hate it when I don't blog as it is a passion of mine and I am going to make sure I find the time to post twice a week. Both on a Wednesday and Sunday and I've decided my posts will be live at 6pm. I've actually got some good ideas for content coming in to April. And seeing as Spring is here keep your eyes peeled for lots of Spring/Summer outfit inspirations.

Anyway on to today's posts. One of my favourite things to do on the weekends is go on a good girls night out, that being said I don't go on as many nights out anymore as I once did when I was 18. I find my Sunday's far too precious to spend most of them hungover. But when I do go on a night out I like to get all dressed up, do my hair and make up (that's probably one of the best parts of the evening).

When I go out I love to dance the night away and as much as I want to look good in my outfit I want something thats going to make me feel comfortable too. There is no point wearing a tight fitted dress you can hardly move in, wheres the fun in that?! I actually ordered this dress in the ASOS sale. It was £25 and is still in stock in limited sizes, I love how it is loose fitting but has that smart/casual vibe to it. And I can see myself getting a lot of wear out of this. It's the perfect dress for fancy cocktails with friends but also a great one to wear to a club too. I love an all round dress like that (means you get your moneys worth out of it!).

I love to team black with silver accessories, and I have a little confession to make. I always said that I would never own a Michael Kors bag. Because I've never liked them and feel like too many people have them, however when shopping in Bicester village a little while back I came across this little beauty. And I think it has come on every night out with me since! It's the perfect size and a great statement piece. This bag has made me realise I should try out different shops because you never know you may fall in love with an item from a brand that isn't your favourite!

Now on to my boots...I picked these up in River Island late last year and it's fair to say I have worn them about 3/4 times a week since. I love how smart looking they are and how they go perfectly with both jeans and dresses. I have never brought any shoes or boots from River Island before, I personally hate buying shoes from new places as I worry they will not fit well or hurt my feet and I hate feeling like I've wasted my money. However I'd highly recommend River Island for footwear and I will be making more purchases in the future.

I hope you enjoyed this outfit post!
