I feel slightly sad writing this post as it's my last travel guide from this Summer. That being said this was a pretty good Summer for me with some amazing memories and I am looking forwards to seeing what the rest of the year has in store for me.

So for my finial trip, I went to Barcelona with one of my best friends (and occasionally blog photographer!) Victoria. This trip was actually planned a long time ago back in January, we wanted something to look forwards too for the end of the Summer and we planned on going for 3 days and wanted a mixture of relaxing and exploring so I suggested Barcelona as it's the perfect place for chilling by the rooftop pools and making your way around a pretty cool city! I went to Barcelona before a couple of years ago and I was very excited to head back again.

We wanted to treat ourselves to a nice hotel and where is better than the W! This is my first time staying in a W hotel and it's safe to say I was very impressed and now want to visit each W hotel around the world...if that could be my job I'd be very happy about that. I love the model feel to it and we had an incredible room with a view overlooking the sea...it was very boring coming home to a view of just my garden when I got back! Seeing as we loved the hotel so much we spent some time there relaxing by the pool, drinking at the beach bar at night...this is probably one of my favourite things about going on holiday and enjoying everything that the hotel had to offer.

Because the hotel was by the beach the easiest way to get into the city centre is via taxi but they were only a few euros each so it does not cost much to get around at all! I love the architecture in Barcelona...it is most defiantly a city where you have to keep looking up at all of the buildings. One of my favourite things about this trip was going to Gaudi park. This place is just beautiful and you can get some great views and picture opportunities. You may have to queue to get in but it is worth the wait.

Another great thing about Barcelona is the shopping...I made a few purchases which I will be sharing in outfit posts over the next few weeks on my blog. Just like London they have a real mixture of high street a designer stores so they have something for everyone. Oh and they have Sephora...which is always a bonus for us girls from the UK!!!

We went on a hop on hop off bus tour on our last day...unfortunately it did start to rain when we were on the top and we did get a little wet! However this is a great way to get around the city and even better if the weather is good. It was great just to look around at the views and buildings.

Writing this is making me want to book another girls holiday...because they are simply the best kinds of trips you can go on! I wish I could fit in another trip before the end of the year. New York would be top of my list if I could.

Love
