'My favourite thing: Going where I've never been.'

After spending time in LA (which you can read all about here) we then got on a short flight to Las Vegas. And wow the heat when we left the airport! Vegas is very very hot! We arrived at our hotel which was the Cosmopolitan one of the newer hotels in Vegas which I believe has been there for 7 years. If I go to Vegas again I'd 100% stay in the same hotel, I loved how modern it was and there was so much going on. (Saying that each hotel was amazing and had a lot going on.) The rooms where very spacious and the hotel had three pool areas. We went to the same one very day and loved it..the cocktails where fab however be prepared to spend a lot of $$$ on them!

The decor in the Cosmopolitan was incredible large heels plotted around the hotel and they have the most amazing chandelier which turned pink at night! I'd say this was probably the most modern hotel out of all the ones we went in. And the staff were always super friendly too which always makes your experience on holiday a lot better.

Each morning we would tend to get up early and head down to the pool, then we would make our way out to explore Vegas in the afternoon/evenings. We stayed for 5 days which I think is the perfect amount of time and you will never run out of things to do. Vegas really does have something for everyone. Our hotel was right next door to the Bellagio...you can not go to Vegas without seeing the Bellagio water fountains which come on about every half hour. It's good to see both day and night. Myself and my mum decided to go up the Eiffel Tower in the Pairs hotel one evening which was a great experience. I always love getting to see new places from a good viewing point. We were lucky enough to be up there when the Bellagio water fountains were on which was great to see from a birds eye view.

Another hotel which I loved was the Venetian...which was just like stepping in to Venice. I've been to Venice before and it felt like I had just gone back again. We went on a gondola ride which was great fun. And if your are lucky you may get someone who will sing while they take you on your gondola ride! I was shocked at just how big each hotel was, most of them had so many different resturants and a mini shopping centre in each one! I did not expect the shopping to be as good as it was in Vegas. I may have made quite a few purchases while I was there.

Other than shopping in the hotels you can take a trip to the Premium outlet centre, however I'd suggest getting the shuttle bus or taxi there as it would take a long time to walk from the strip. The outlet centre is pretty standard in terms of what shops they had. But I always make sure I go to them when I'm in the states because I find they are so much cheaper and have better options than the ones in the UK.

On one of our last days we decided to go to Top Golf at MGM, however the hotel is so huge it takes about 15 minutes to walk there from the main hotel entrance. (Be prepared to do a lot of walking while you are in Vegas.) I love Top Golf and I've been to my local one in the UK quite a few times, however going to Top Golf in Vegas was 100% better, the views were amazing and the weather is beautiful not the same back here in the UK!

Those are just a few of my highlights from my trip to Las Vegas, I would highly recommend a trip if you have not been before...I really want to go back again with the girls one day. America is one of my favourite places to go to and I think next place on my list is San Francisco!

  1. The food at this venue was excellent, as was the service, many of our friends and family still rave about it. My wife and I highly recommend these venues in San Francisco. We came here again for dinner and everything was again good and the service was extremely fast.
