This year I have tried really hard to buy less but chose more wisely. And so far I feel like I've been quite successful. I am yet to have a huge ASOS order arrive in the post and instead I've been making less purchases but making sure they are all items that I have fallen in love with and will get lots of wear out of. The shirt above is one of my most resent purchases and I've worn it loads already.

I love the Gingham trend at the moment and feel like it's one that will stick around for a long time. ASOS have so many different Gingham items of clothing on their website. When it comes to shopping ASOS is the first place I look. Partly because you can't walk around the shops in your PJ's with a class of wine in your hand! I can spend hours scrolling through the their website. I love how they have a mixture of their own clothing, and some other amazing both high street and designer brands. Plus the fact you can get next day delivery for a whole year for £9.99 makes things even better. ASOS is the best place to buy those last minute items that you need for that weekend/or the next day if you are a really last minute person.

I think my favourite feature of this shirt is the bow, I have to admit when I first put it on I was a little worried it looked a little over the top and I did not think I would be able to pull it off. But sometimes you just have to go with those items you love even if you do not think you are cool enough! I've had so many compliments every time I wear it. I think it's the perfect weekend casual look for a day of brunch and shopping! (If only I did not work on a Saturday I would make sure I have a day set aside each weekend for this.)

I love how easy this shirt is to style, I seem to go for a lot of statement garments which can be styled with really basic items to finish the look. I think this pretty much sums up my style at the moment. Jeans and converse are my all time favourite comfy yet still stylist items to wear. And for me adding a touch of bright lips always finishes a look off perfect. I never feel ready to face the day until I have my lipstick on. It's amazing how good a little bit of make-up can make you feel.

I hope you enjoyed this post. I'm off to LA and Las Vegas tomorrow for 10 days and I'm very excited. So expect to see looks of holiday snaps on Instagram (you can follow me here) and I will be back with lots of holiday content on my blog when I come home from my trip!

Love
Nicole
