Primark Midi Skirt

Well long time no blog...the past month has been super busy with lots of things going on so I have had very little time to sit down a write any blog posts. But after some time apart from my blog and a very nice holiday. I went to LA for 5 days then made my way to Las Vegas for another 5 days...It was safe to say I really didn't want to leave and I will have lots of holiday content coming up on my blog very shortly. I am feeling very inspired and have lots of new and exciting ideas for content at the moment. My blogging schedule going forwards will be Monday and Wednesday each week and I'll aim to have them up by 7.30am!

Here are some photos that I shot before I went away on holiday. Midi skirts and dresses are normally a style that I stere clear from. For the pure reason that I am really short so I worry that they may make me look even shorter. However I spotted this out of the corner of my eye as I was leaving Primark (having already brought lots of pieces) and had to go back to the till and purchase this…does anyone else do this too? This was only £14 so I decided if I do not get a significant amount of wear out of it, it does not matter too much.

I love love love the silver and pink colours of this skirt and they are very summer appropriate. After trying this on, I’m actually quite happy with the length of the skirt. I’ve teamed this with my much loved pink brogues but these can be exchanged for heels too for a more formal occasion. For this look I’ve gone for an off the shoulder top…this is one of my favourite styles for summer and has been for a couple of years now. Although this could also be switched for a normal t-shirt for occasions when off the shoulder tops may not be appropriate such as for work. This is what I love about fashion you can take one item and change the way you wear it depending on what you are doing and where you are going.

I picked this up about a month ago now so I’m not sure if Primark will still have it available as I know their stock turnaround is pretty quick. However I'm pretty sure they will have Midi skirts very similar.

I love shopping in Primark as it gives you the chance to try out new styles you would not normally wear without breaking the bank. I have actually picked up quite a few summer sandals in there recently too, that I wore over my holiday and have to say I’m pretty impressed with the quality considering the price.

Do you like shopping in Primark? I hope you enjoyed this post.
