Let me introduce you to my all time favourite outfit at the moment. One I hate to admit how much I’ve worn since purchasing it few weeks ago. I was in Sloane Square, somewhere I do not go to often but should go more. (The food market on a Saturday is amazing btw…) Sloane Square/Kings Road have lots of lovely shops and unlike Oxford/Regent Street it has a much more relaxed vibe about it. Probably because it is not so much of a tourist area so there are far less people making your shopping experience much more pleasurable.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, I really do have eyes of a magpie. I see something that sparkles and my eyes are instantly drawn to it. I headed straight over to this jumper when I saw it out of the corner of my eye. (And it was in the sale section for £5.99 to make it even better, how could I resist!) I love the mixture between the pink and blue sequins; these are two colours that I love to wear. I like the oversized sleeves on this jumper making it more of a relaxed fit. Before going to the changing room to try it on, I picked up the leather look skirt. It’s very rarely that I see a leather look skirt that looks good. So many of them you can tell by just looking at them they are not real leather. But I’m really impressed with the look and quality of this one. I already have another one from H&M but it is an A-line fit, which looks amazing but it does make an outfit look more formal. So I loved how this skirt has a flared effect making it more casual.

For me this is one of those ‘feel good outfits’ and I think it’s so important to have those outfits in your wardrobe. For days where your not sure what to wear, do not want to make much of an effort or if your just having a crappy day. It’s always good to know you have a safe outfit that will make you feel good no matter what.

Seeing as spring is now here, I thought it was about time I started using my much-loved Aspinal of London bag. (I tend to use darker toned bags during the winter months.) I think this bag goes well with the colour balance of this outfit with the bright sequins, greys and blacks. Most people when buying designer bags tend to stay clear of bright colours. I understand why as people are investing a lot of their money when buying these and feel like a more neutral colour is a safer option. However I have got so much use out of this bag and I was pleasantly surprised with how much it goes with.

Hope you all enjoyed todays post. Sometimes I like to have a topic to write about in my posts, but other times I like to just sit down and talk you through my outfit and why I like it and today was one of those days!

Love
Nicole
