For today's post I wanted to have a look back over SS16 and share with you some of my favourite outfits and items of clothing from last Spring/Summer that I hope to get use of out this year too.

Whenever a new season starts I always like to add new items to my wardrobe and have a big clear out too. (Read Monday's post here all about How To Detox Your Wardrobe.) But before you add new items to your wardrobe it's always good to see what you already have so you can make sure you can make use of out them and I always like to see what I've got so I can create outfits by mixing and matching old items with my new ones.

I have a couple of amazing sale picks in this post. The first outfit features my all time favourite jumpsuit from Little Mistress, which I got in the sale down from £60 to £15 which is pretty amazing considering I was prepared to pay the £60 but wanting to wait until I got paid...I waited a week or so then it went down dramatically in the sale! I got so much wear out of this last year and I've already worn in once this year too, the other week when I went out for a special dinner. The last outfit also features a sale item. I picked up this top last year from Oasis...which is a funny old shop for me because I either go in there and not like anything or fall in love with everything! I adore the floral print and colours and think it looks great tucked in a skirt or worn with jeans. I'm really excited to start wearing this again.

I have a lot of white in this post, I love wearing white during the Spring/Summer months it's such a fresh looking colour.  A trend that was really big last year and is here to stay for a while is off the shoulder. I brought my off the shoulder top from Zara although it is no longer in stock there are plenty of alternatives on the high street that you can find.

Along with a white outfit, I love to team them with bright colours. You may spot a Self Portrait look a like dress in this post....I picked this up in a local boutique for about £60! So saved myself a lot of money. I wore this to Royal Ascot last year and teamed it with my bright colour dot matching dune clutch bag and heels. I also have another white dress in the fourth outfit and I like to wear it with my pink jacket to make the outfit stand out more and give it that stylish edge.

I also love my white kimono with blue embroidery detail which I picked up in Zara (this post is filled with Zara items). The thing about Spring/Summer in the UK is that we are not always guaranteed hot weather (oh I wish we was though!) so it's always good to have a light layer to take around with you on those slightly colder days.

These are a few of my favourite outfits from SS16, that I can not wait to wear again this year. I'm also very excited to share with you some new items that I have brought recently.
