Last week I came back from one of the BEST weekends I've had in ages. For Christmas I treated my mum to a weekend away in Bath. (We love Bath and have been a few times now) Bath like New York its one of my happy places, I feel like its a home away from home. I was so sad when the weekend came to an end as I had such a good time and I can not wait to go back again...maybe next time during December as I've heard good things about the Christmas Markets.

We stayed in a hotel called Harrington's this was our third stay and we love it so much we would never try out another hotel in Bath (to be honest I do no think another one would match Harrington's). I can highly recommend this hotel, it's a small boutique hotel which such friendly and helpful staff. Each room in the hotel is decorated different which is great if you are guest like us who go back again as you are more than likely to be put in a different room which is completely different to the one you have stayed in before. How amazing does the room look from the photos above I adore this wallpaper and think I need a room with wallpaper like that when I buy my own home in the future. We stayed for one night but that was not long enough I wish I had booked two! We went from Sunday- Monday which does make it a little cheaper compared to staying on a Friday or Saturday night. On the Sunday evening we made use of the hotel hot tub which you can hire for £7.50 each for an hour time slot. This was the perfect way to wind down after being on our feet shopping all day! Harrington's is in the centre of Bath right on top of the shops and restaurants and only a 5 minute walk from the train station.

Of course I can not go away anywhere without going to the shops, Bath is great for shopping. I brought some Kurt Geiger shoes (I love this shop!) in the sale down from £110 to £39 which is pretty amazing..I'm sure they will feature on my blog very soon. As my birthday is coming up shortly I picked out a few clothes from my mum and grandparents. Mainly Spring/Summer items. It's not the weather to start wearing these pieces now but I've started styling them in my head and can not wait to stay wearing them when the weather gets warmer.

On the Sunday evening we went to Bills for dinner which is one of my favourite places to eat. I had a fish figure sandwich and sweet potatoes fries (which I'm loving at the moment). After dinner we headed to the Be At One bar...for happy hour! Myself and my mum love this bar I think we have nearly tried out every cocktail on the menu now. Our favourite is the popster, which is basically a cocktail mixed with popcorn what more could you want!

On our second day we spent it at the Thermae Spa again this is somewhere we have been before. And I can highly recommend as we go back time and time again. The Thermae Spa has two heated pools one indoor and one outdoor on the roof (you get the most amazing views here). We also had a back massage and facial which was just dreamy and so relaxing. Writing this post now from my bedroom is making me feel very jealous of all those people that are currently spending their day at the Thermae Spa!

We were so lucky with the weather in Bath although it was cold (but what else do you expect in January) it did not rain which was great as we have been before in August and had rain over the weekend...you just never know what to expect with English weather.

I also took some good outfit photos while I was in Bath so expect to see them on my blog over the next couple of weeks, I love going away and making the most of taking photos in different locations!

If you are planning a weekend away in the UK anytime soon I would suggest going to Bath I promise you will not regret it! We took the train from London paddington and it took about 2 hours I booked our tickets a few weeks in advance too which made them a lot cheaper!

Hope you enjoyed this post.

Love
