Towards the end of last year I started to do some freelance work and this involves most of the work I do being done at home which has both it's pros and cons. I still have a part time job working in retail, as at the moment I do not have enough freelance work to go full time with it just yet. But today I wanted to write 10 tips on how to master working from home as at times it can be a little difficult to feel motivated compared to being in an office space around other co-workers. Some of you may have full-time jobs but work at home part time writing your blogs or doing youtube. So some of these tips may help you too.

1. Make sure you have a tidy work-space, as a tidy space means tidy mind.

2. Make a list of things to do in order of priority daily and weekly.

3. Have regular breaks.

4. Make sure you do not skip lunch, this may sound silly but it's so easy to do when you work from home!

5. Get outside, if your lucky like me and have a dog this is a great excuse to go outside for a nice walk to take a break from your laptop.

6. Go to the gym or do an exercise class, I've started to go to mid-day classes and feel this really helps to break my day up and gets me talking and meeting other people.

7. Meet up with friends who also work from home, myself and Lana have decided to try and do monthly meet-ups because we both work from home now. This way we can exchange creative ideas and give each other boost talks when we are finding things difficult.

8. Work from a coffee shop, sometimes it's nice to mix up your working environment.

9. Get dressed as if your going to work, trust me it makes you feel 100% more motivated than wearing your pjs!

10. Plan spending time with people in the evenings and at weekends as working from home can be lonely at times so this gives you something to look forward too.

So here you are there is my 10 tips to master working from home, these things have helped me a great amount so I hope these help you too.

On to my outfit, these photos were taken in Bath. On the day myself and my mum arrived we went on a little shopping trip (we always do in Bath as the shopping is great!) I picked up this cardigan and top from Primark in the Sale! I love the colours and adore the rose gold detail on the zips. I also like how my scarf which I've had for way over a year now matches perfectly with this outfit. I love it when you buy new clothes and you have older items in your wardrobe that match really well with them.

Hope you enjoyed this post, do you have any other tips on how to master working from home?

Love
