Jeans Topshop | Shoes and Bag Kurt Geiger | Top ASOS | Jacket Topshop

Quite often I choose my outfit then decide which accessories I will style them with. I think most people do it this way round. However sometimes I pick the accessories first, especially if they are statement. And that's exactly what I've done with this outfit. I adore my Kurt Geiger bag and shoes, however I picked these up in the Summer during 2015 and I've still not blogged about them which is very surprising seeing as they are a wardrobe favourite of mine. These are no longer available on the website or in store. However if I was you I would still have a look on the Kurt Geiger website as they have some amazing statement shoes and bags that look perfect teamed with simple outfits.

The title of this post is Date Night Look, so I suppose it would be a good idea to start talking about why I would wear this on a date night. What I love about this look is that it has the statement and stylish edge but does not look too dressy. But still looks like you have put thought and effort into what you are wearing. It's never nice when you turn up somewhere and feel too dressed up for the occasion. Normally a date night involves going for dinner so you want to be super comfortable with what your wearing. And for me this outfit is very comfortable. Over the last year or so I've fallen in love with the simple and classic look. I picked up this top from ASOS, there is something I really love about a plain white top with a little twist on it. (ASOS have the most amazing range of plain tops but with different cuts and styles to make them look a little more interesting.) I like how this has a split at the back and half of the top is longer at the front. I have a list of Black and White tops on my saved lists on ASOS at the moment.

Black jeans are a wardrobe must have in my eyes, they are super smart looking so ideal for a date night. I also think the black and white combination look great together and this is something that I've been wearing more of recently. I have a growing and slightly out of control collection of jackets/coats in my wardrobe...I really must stop buying them but I feel that your outerwear is just as important as your main outfit. I picked up a leather style jacket in Topshop about 5 years ago now, and it lasted very well. However over the years (as expected and I can not complain for something that cost around £45) it started to look a little worn so I decided it was time to get a new one. My mum treated me to this jacket and it's just an updated version of the old one I had and is still from Topshop. But I think a leather jacket is a great finishing touch to a date night look as its very smart looking.

Hope you like this outfit, what is your favourite thing to wear on a date night?

Love
