Jumper Ralph Lauren | Jeans Topshop | Shoes Kurt Geiger | Clutch Bag Valentino

If you have not heard of Bicester Village before then where have you been hiding?! Bicester Village is a designer shopping outlet in Oxford (just outside of London), where you can pick up designer pieces at discounted prices saving you lots of £££! Some of the stock will be old season, however you will always find things that you love. Today I wanted to talk about shopping there as my grandparents gave me some money before Christmas so I was able to pick my own presents, so myself, my mum and brother decided to have a day shopping in Bicester. (I can see this quickly becoming a yearly tradition!)

One important thing to note about Bicester is that the stock turnaround is very quick, if you see something one day it may not be there again the next. (Very much like TKMAXX in that way) And stock may be in limited sizes which can be annoying if you find something you love that is not in your size as they will be unlikely to be able to order it.

At the moment they have more than 130 stores and they are expanding to make it bigger, I'm hoping by my next trip later this year these new stores will be open. You need to be prepared to bring a reasonable amount of money with you as although the stores are cheaper it is still a designer outlet, so it is nothing like the high street sales, that being said you will still save yourself a lot of money compared to going to the designer stores that are non-outlets.

I'm very much the kind of person, if I like something I will buy it. I don't mind if it's designer, high street or from a charity shop. And old season does not bother me one bit, I actually quite like wearing old season clothes as you are less likely to walk down the street seeing every other girl wearing what you have brought.

I walked away from Bicester with two items that I'm very very happy with, a Ralph Lauren jumper. Which I have not stopped wearing over this last month. I adore the colour and feel that it suits my pale skin tone, (there are lots of colours that look really unflattering on me due to my skin tone.) and it brightens up any outfit. Plus it's super cosy and warm which is a bonus for me seeing as I feel the cold so easily....I'm secretly counting down the days till Summer. For the outfit above I've worn this with my much-loved Topshop jeans and a pair of Kurt Geiger brown boots. This jumper was £60 and I can not remember how much the original price was, however it was a significant amount of money that I saved.

On to the next item, I did not have anything in particular in mind as to what I was looking for/wanted  when I went shopping. It's sometimes nice to go shopping with an open mind as you end up spotting things that you may have otherwise missed. (It's so easy to go with something in mind and not spot all the other amazing things around you!) I had a look in the Valentino store, and spotted this amazing pink clutch bag. Can you see a running trend here with pink?! I love how the clutch bag is plain with the classic Valentino stud detail. This will go with so much in my wardrobe and I can't wait to start using it especially during the summer months. This will look great teamed with white summer dresses for an evening or day out. This was £190 down from £300 which is an amazing discount! I probably would not have brought this clutch bag at the original price as it was a little too expensive however the discount made it a lot better!

If you have a birthday coming up, or saving money to treat yourself to something nice I would highly recommend taking a trip to Bicester Village you will come home with some amazing new pieces for your wardrobe.

Love
Nicole
