One of my favourite things about the festive season, is Christmas markets. They never fail to put you in the Christmas spirit, and I can't think of a better way to spend my day then mooching around looking at all the beautiful gifts, eating amazing food and drinking mulled cider. So when myself and my good friend Lana decided it was time to have our very overdue catch up Winchester Christmas market was top of our list of places to go.

Of course when out with a fellow blogger that gives the perfect opportunity to take outfit photos for each other! I started chatting to Lana a couple of years ago via Twitter and we met at an event early last year and have been such good friends ever since. It's always great to have friends who are bloggers who just get what you do and it's fab to have someone to have creative talks with! It's great that the internet can bring people together like this and I'm so glad blogging has brought me new friends.

We went to the market on a extremely cold day, which ended with us sitting by a fire in the local pub sipping on hot chocolate! My fur headband was an essential for our day out. I've been wearing it non-stop recently. It keeps my head and ears so warm (I'm someone who feels the cold a lot!) but also looks super stylish. I actually picked mine up at Winter Wonderland a couple of years ago, however you can pick these up in most high street fashion stores or Christmas markets for really reasonable prices. I think mine was about £10.

If you are a regular reader of my blog it will be no surprise to you that I love stripes.  They are just so easy to style and always look good. A stripe top/dress are my go-to items when I'm not sure what to wear. I picked up this top from ASOS for around £12 and it's fair to say I love it. My favourite part of the top is the cute heart patch on the elbow, I love details like this on clothes that add a little twist and make the items look more interesting.

I wanted to keep my outfit casual and comfortable as I knew that day I would be doing a lot of walking and a long train journey. I always find my jeans from Topshop perfect for these occasions. Topshop jeans are my favourite, they are super comfortable, fit perfectly and are reasonable priced. (Most of them being £36-£42).

I have to say I didn't make a wise choice with my coat, as it's very light weight and did not do a good job with keeping me warm! But lucky I had a big scarf to wrap around me.

When it comes to long days out when I have a lot to bring with me like my camera etc. My handbag of choice is my big Zara bag. It's the perfect size not too big not too small and fits everything I need saving me from having to use a number of bags.

I hope you enjoyed today's post. I've got a few nice Chrismassy things planned for the next couple of weeks and can't wait to create lots more festive style content. As it is the most wonderful time of the year!
