New York Photo Dairy

I've been lucky enough to be able to have travelled a lot over the years. And out of all the places I've been to, New York sits at the top being my favourite. This weekend I returned home from my second trip to the Big Apple and it's safe to say I already want to go back. If I could I would visit New York every year. New York is my happy place and there is something about the city that just makes it so so special.

My last trip to New York was with my mum three years ago for my 18th Birthday in February. And I knew I wanted to go back again, but this time around Christmas. There are so many great things happening in New York at Christmas time which I will talk more about later.

My favourite part of this trip was a helicopter ride around the hudson river. It's the most amazing way to see the New York skyline. Me and Glyn were lucky enough to have sat at the front next to the pilot. I can't describe just how incredible this experience was and it's one that I will remember forever.

We also saw a broadway show which was a super fun way to spend an evening in New York. We saw School of Rock and I loved it. I'm always so impressed by shows that have young children in them, they are so talented.

Like I said before, there are so many great things going on during Christmas time in New York. I love just walking around seeing all the amazing decorations my favourite by far was the Rockefeller Christmas tree, this is something that I had wanted to see for a long time and it did not disappoint. I had a few things in mind that I wanted to do on our trip but we also walked a lot finding things to do along the way. One thing that we spotted and we went back serval times was Bryant park Christmas market. This was a lovely little spot with a beautiful tree, lots of amazing stalls (I picked up so many good Christmas presents and I can't wait to give them to people!), and an ice skating rink.

Another lovely Chrismassy thing we did was go ice skating in Central Park, I love central park. (Plus it's an amazing spot for outfit photos..I've got a couple of new posts coming soon.) I was highly surprised that my ice skating skills have improved a lot! And I can't wait to get back on the ice this weekend at the National History museum in London.

I did lots and lots of shopping in New York, I'm sure you will see some outfit posts with some new items very soon...I may have come home with 6 new pairs of shoes (all on offer may I add!). Friday I will have a post up all about shopping in New York.

I hope you liked this post! I'm already dreaming about my next trip to New York.
