I was so excited to sit down and write today's blog post! The reason why? Well it's officially  December of course. And to celebrate that fact, I decided today would be a great opportunity to write a blog post all about dresses you can wear to your festive parties. I never normally have any festive parties to go to however that's all changed this year and I have a few lined up. The first one is today with the people I go to my keep fit classes with (lets hope I don't eat or drink too much to ruin all my hard work lately!).

As I had a few parties lined up this year, I thought it would be the perfect opportunity to add some more festive dresses to my wardrobe. I actually got these in River Island, a shop I never normally go in however I have to say their festive collections are on point this year. And I've also picked up a beautiful glittery bag which I'm loving and the moment featured here and here

I wasn't on the hunt for some festive dresses however I just so happened to come across these and thought they would be ideal. That's the way I normally shop, I rarely go out with something in particular in mind to buy. However if I see something that is suitable for any upcoming occasions, I'll always buy it. As the chances are when I'm on the hunt for that perfect dress I won't find it!

I love how both of these dresses are midi style and suit me pretty well. As I always worry when buying long/midi dresses that they will not suit me due to my height. However added with a pair of heels they look fine! (Always a small pair of heels for me as I don't walk well in high ones and I want to be comfortable on the dance floor!). I actually picked up the heels in Oasis last year, they were really reasonable in price (even better that I picked them up in their black friday sale!) and they have some lovely designs in store. So be sure to check them out if you haven't already!

Colour is very important to me when wearing clothes, silver and gold have Christmas written all over them! I think you will know well by now if you are a regular reader of my blog that I love metallics. And I think they work so well in the festive season. However it's not going to be everyones cup of tea and I'm totally cool with that!

Hope you enjoyed todays post and hopefully it has given you some festive party outfit idea's if your on the hunt for the perfect dress!

I'm off to New York next week, so there will not be any new blog posts while I'm away, however I have lots of festive content planned for when I am back which I'm super excited to share with you all.

Love
Nicole
