5 ways to enjoy this summer

I'm loving this amazing weather at the moment and really hope it is here to stay for a while! With this beautiful weather it got me thinking about ways to enjoy the summer and things to do that won't cost you loads of money! (Because hey, being a new graduate I'm all about saving money at the moment!)

1. Have a picnic at home, I'm lucky enough to still be living in my family home which means I have a lovely garden and great garden furniture to take great advantage of. Last week one of my girlfriends came over and we spent the whole afternoon just sat outside chilling in my garden and I made us some lunch (salmon bagels, if your interested!) and it was just amazing to sit there and chat and have no where to be or have nothing to do!

2. Pub Gardens, there is something so nice about chilling out and sitting in a pub garden in the sunshine! And it is somewhere you can go and spend as much or as little money as you like!

3. Festivals, I'm not a huge festival goer, in fact I've only ever been to one day festival before. However I am going to change this and I've booked to go to SW4 at the end of the summer and glad I've got something to look forward too!

4. Visit the beach, as much as I love London (it will always hold a special place in my heart) I do miss not having a beach nearby to go to! However whenever I get the chance I try and visit the beach as often as I can. I think the british seaside is very understated, I adore Brighton and Mudeford beach and when it's a hot day you feel like you are on holiday abroad.

5. Go for a walk, sometimes its the simple things in life that can be most enjoyable. I'm lucky that I've got a pet dog so that pushes me to go outside and take long walks. Going out for walks is a great opportunity to explore your local area, I love discovering new places.

I hope you enjoyed this post and it has inspired you to do something different this summer!

Lots of Love
