Trousers Zara | Jacket Topshop | Top H&M | Shoes Topshop

I've had a little break from blogging and been very quite on social media the last couple of weeks, that's because I've been in my last weeks at university trying to finish off my dissertation which has been a stressful time! But yipeee I've now finished my degree! And have more time on my hands to focus on my little creative space on the internet.

One of my favourite things about blogging, is going out and taking blog photos! I love planning outfits, thinking of different locations to shoot in and taking the actual photos. Luckily for me I've always got my mum on hands to take my photos for me and she's great at coming up with different ideas! It's always great to have someone to bounce ideas off. One of the things that people don't always see when it comes to blogging, this that the weather is not always on our side. About 10 minutes before taking these photos it was pouring down with rain and we have to sit and wait in the car for a while. At one point we didn't think we would be able to get any shots that day. (I mean what's happening with the British weather lately!! Snow on in April?!)

I'm the kind of girl who buys something new and gets completely obsessed with it and wear the same item over and over again. That is what's currently happening with these trousers. I think part of it is that I saw these fell head over hells in love with them (because you can fall in love with clothes right?) and didn't think they would suit me. If you are a regular reader of my blog you will know that I never wear trousers, partly because I'm so short I can never fit any to fit probably. So I was really pleased when these trousers fitted so well. I think they add the perfect touch to a summers outfit and they are very lightweight so great for the warmer weather. I've teamed these with a plain white off the shoulder top. (Although you can't see this probably in the photos as after it rained it was too cold to take that leather jacket off!) When it comes to statement items I always style them with simple garments. I've also teamed them with my new Topshop sandals which I am also obsessed with.

I hope you all like this post, I love trying out new trends that I would never normally wear, sometimes its good to get out of your conform zone. As it's so easy to get in to a style rant where you wear the same things all the time and never experiment with fashion.

Love
Nicole
