Shirt Zara | Jeans Topshop | Jacket Topshop | Shoes Kurt Geiger

While writing this post I'm sat in the Grind coffee shop in covent garden (btw best coffee shop ever!) and a few moments ago it was freezing cold, and now the sun is shining through the window and making me really hot. This is typical British weather, you never know what it is going to be like from one day to the next. That was what got me thinking about today's post. Although Spring is now upon us, we can still have some very cold days. In fact when I was taking these outfit photos in Notting Hill a few weeks ago, me and my mum had to find a shop that sold gloves because it was so cold (this should not be happening in Spring!!!) Here are my top tips on how to style for the colder weather in Spring.

1. Light Layers
Being Spring it is not as cold as it was in the Winter, therefore light layers are key, especially because at any moment in time the sun could make an appearance. My favourite items for this is light weight shirts and leather jackets as shown in the photos above.

2. Accessories
When it's cold in the Spring, you don't want to feel like your whole outfit looks like a winter one. I don't know about you but but for me Spring is all about fun. That's why I like to add some statement accessories to my outfits, these gold Kurt Geiger trainers are a firm favourite of mine at the moment.

3. Colours
Its always nice to add colour to your outfit in Spring months. I always like experimenting with new colours at the moment I'm loving Khaki. I've been wearing this shirt a lot over the past few weeks. (Plus the gold detailing on the pocket matches perfectly with my gold shoes!)

So these are my tips on how to dress for cold days in Spring, although I hope there will not be too many of them!

Next week I have some more summery posts, pieces that need some nice weather in order to be able to wear them.

Love
