The last few weeks have been pretty crazy for me to say the least! I've been writing my 10,000 word dissertation. And although I am enjoying it as the topic is really interesting (it's all about how high street brands market to generation Y through social media!). It does get super stressful at times, worrying will I get it all done on time, am I writing the right thing?! These questions go through my head daily. Also while doing that I've been applying for full time jobs as I leave university in May, which is very scary in itself. The past three years have flown by super fast, and I can't believe that it will all be over soon. I've really enjoyed my university course which is Fashion Marketing and Promotion and LCF. However I feel that I'm ready to leave now and start my new adventure! Having a part time job, running a blog and fitting in a social life as well, things can get a little stressful at times and sometimes I feel like there is so much to do that it's hard to stay motivated at times! Which is ok, because that's life. So today I wanted to talk about a few things that make me feel more motivated.

1. Read a motivational book, one that will help you develop your skills or give you inspiration. I've found two really good fashion career related books recently. Girl Boss by Sophia Amorus and Leave Your Mark by Aliza Licht.

2. Give yourself a break! I find that if I have sometime to look forwards to I'm more likely to get a task done a work harder.

3. Quotes, I love motivational quotes and as you can see from the pictures above I have brought a few quotes to put up in my bedroom. All of these items are from Primark Home. (You must check this out if you haven't already!) I also have a Pinterest board full of quotes here

4. Remember the hard work will pay off!

5. Having a goal or something to work towards always makes a task much easier to approach.

6. Exersise, I've been adding this in to more routine more recently because it helps me to feel really good about myself plus give huge benefits to your body.

So there are my tips on staying motivated! A different post today but I really enjoyed writing it and sometimes its nice have a mix of content on my blog.
