Dress - Topshop | Boots - Shoeaholics | Necklaces H&M

I've been really excited about publishing this outfit post on my blog, mainly because it is my first AW15 post this season! I love this time of year when the high street stores fill up with their new collections. I have to say Autumn/Winter are my favourite seasons, I love layering, teaming dresses with black tights, boots and knitwear. When looking back over the summer months one trend that is not going anywhere, any time soon is denim. I really liked the denim trend over the summer and embraced it by treating myself to a denim dress (outfit post here) , which I got lots of use out of. I soon realised that as soon as the colder weather comes along I would no longer be able to wear my summer denim dress as it is too short and has short sleeves.

While shopping with my mum a few weeks back in London, I picked up this Autumn denim dress. I knew as soon as I saw it that I just had to buy it. I teamed it with a statement necklace that I picked up in H&M. Well actually my mum pointed it out to me and said it would really suit me, I'm glad she is always on hands when I go out shopping with her I tell you she spots some good gems. She should start her own fashion blog instead of being my photographer! I think a necklace like this finishes off the look perfectly as it is such a simple yet classic outfit.

Now on to my new boots, I've had a really nice pair of Topshop and Zara black boots for a few years now and they are both firm favourites of mine. But you know when the time comes when you have worn your favourite item, time and time again and it just needs updating because they are starting to get damaged?! Well that day had come for me a long time ago, but I just couldn't bring myself to buy any new boots as I loved my old ones so much. That's until I discovered the website Shoeaholics (you have to check this out if you have not heard of this before!) I picked up two new pairs of black boots, both at a discounted price. The ones featured in my outfit post where £160 down to £49 which is an amazing price for a good quality pair of boots that I will get lots of use of out.

Are you all excited for Autumn/Winter fashion? What have you added to your wardrobe for the new season?

Love
Nicole
